The 12th Capacity Building Training for NGOs Serving Migrant Workers in Beijing

 

The 12th Capacity Building Training for NGOs Serving Migrant Workers workshop has been launched in CANGO, Beijing from Nov.30th 2009 to Dec.3rd 2009. The subject of the training was Training of Trainers. A total of 24 participants from 24 NGOs serving Migrant Workers across the country attended the training.

 

Huang Haoming, the Director of CANGO; Wang Xiangyi, the Project Manager of CANGO and Lin Enci, the trainer from LEADERSHIP INC attended the opening ceremony. Huang Haoming made all the trainers and trainees welcome and expressed appreciate then introduced the capacity building training for NGOs Serving Migrant Workers in brief. When it comes to the difficult living conditions of Chinese migrant workers, Mr. Huang motivated the participants to keep learning and become outstanding trainers to provide more service for NGOs Serving Migrant Workers. Wang Xiangyi expressed appreciate to the trainers and participants then introduced the training objectives, courses in details.

 

 

Most students participated in the training are responsible for training and teaching in their organizations, so according to the actual needs of these participants, Mrs. Lin led them to realize different stages of a training step by step through interactive learning, the focus of discussion, brainstorming and other interactive teaching methods, and the students eventually learnt how to arrange the whole process of training. In the training, participants also learnt a lot of training skills, such as grouping, interaction, data compilation and rapid feedback which can improve the quality of training. Mrs. Lin has also given students some careful analysis to the practical problems they encountered in daily training work. When the participants summed up the outcome of the four-day training, they said they have learnt a lot from the training. As the curriculum design includes interactive and sharing activities, so the participants have always maintained an involvement of enthusiasm, and the training effect was very satisfactory.

 

In the four-day training, participants and teachers live and learn together. They even organized a QQ group for keeping in touch after the training. The last day of training, participants and teachers embraced warmly and taken photos in front of the training publicity banners.
